Itching to break into print? Here's your chance. The editors of “The Mirror,” the undergraduate history journal published by the University of Western Ontario these past 28 years, are soliciting (soliciting being legal in Ontario) high-quality undergraduate student essays for their next edition. Deadline for submission is Thursday, November 1st. The Mirror’s editorial staff traditionally selects 10-12 papers for publication, among which are traditional essays on any historical topic, one historiographic essay, and a couple of book reviews. Submissions should be 12-20 pages in length and include a correctly sourced bibliography. Essays must have received a mark of 80% or higher.
