M.A. candidate Elizabeth Scott is just back from England, where on July 2^nd and 3^rd she attended a conference on Land Questions at the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield. Liz presented a very well-received paper based on her thesis research, “Cockney Plots: Working Class Politics and Garden Allotments in London’s East End, 1890-1918.” Congratulations, Liz!
